Realfluence is designed to collect as little personal data as possible. This page explains what we do collect, why, and the choices you have.

Voting

To enforce one vote per visitor, we set a cookie named rfl_voter containing a random token. The token identifies your browser to our voting system only. Before storage, it is combined with a secret site key and hashed, so the stored value cannot be reversed into the original token, and it is never linked to your name, email address or any account unless you are logged in. Votes are stored with a timestamp so we can detect and remove manipulation.

Contact form

When you use the contact form we receive the name, email address and message you provide. We use these solely to reply to you. We apply a short lived, hashed rate limit to deter spam.

Cookies

Beyond the rfl_voter cookie described above, the site may set cookies required for core WordPress functionality and, where enabled, consent management. We do not run advertising trackers.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct or request deletion of personal data we hold about you. Contact us via the contact page and we will respond within one calendar month.
